the sound system isn't working properly with the current trunk of xith3d. Two observations made:

  • There can be played only one sound a time. Parallel processing of two sound nodes isn't working. See the JavaSoundTest in xith-tk, the background sound (birds sound) is missing.
  • The Sound System will not work at all with a second start of the test. It will finally crash the test application from the third start on.

It's all fixed now.

Make sure to call the start() method of the SoundDriver as done in the testcases, since it is automatically shut down when the render loop stops.
